Re: vespa variated rear wheel wanted
The Variated hub has 4 gears in it. The non-variated hub has 2 gears in it. The inner part of the hub gear housing is the same except the non-variated version doesn't have all of the needle bearings pressed in. The outer parts of the hub gear housing (the part you can see with the shaft sticking out) is completely different. Theoretically you could make a non-variated hub variated if you pressed in the missing needle bearings and used a variated outer gear housing peice but if you have that peice, you probably have the rest of the variated hub too.

There should be an exploded view of the Non-variated hub in the Vespa Manual on 1977 to compare it to.
