FS: Motobecane in CT $250
This was a project I put off for a while, but I finished it yesterday. Overall the bike is in fair shape at best. It is a 25 MPH 'B' Cylinder so it might hit about 26 on flat ground, although I have not ridden it much. It rides OK, idles strong. 12mm Gurtner.
Good:
New FAG main bearings
New crankshaft
Novi nut replaced with hexagonal nut
Complete besides side covers
Clean gas tank
Bad:
Chrome is in poor shape
Belt is old
lights do not work, taillight does however. I might get around to fixing this.
the flywheel rubs slightly on some of the metal near the coils, not sure why.
typical bent pedal cranks.
I have better chrome parts I can also sell to the buyer. Also I have Motobecane mag wheels which will also be available for more money. There is no warranty or guarantee of any kind and item is sold as-is.
