URGENT can u have a bad boot but still have spark?

i've been running the same setup for months now, [stock e50, tecno boss, dellorto 15.15 SHA, ngk B5HS], never a problem. bike just died while riding today and i cannot for the life of me figure out the problem.

has spark, compression, and proper 50:1 ratio premix
clean fuel line/filter
clean tank
spotless carb inside and out
*running recommended plug (ngk b5hs)

since like yesterday, my plug boot has been falling off while riding, so i slide it back on and start it back up and ride away... but now it wont even start! the lights turn on, the engine kicks over, i pedal like crazy but it just dies on the stand. i havent altered anything in my setup in months, what could be the problem?

NOTE: the inside of the stock metal plug boot is mangled/melted, but yet when i test for spark, i get a good spark. the only possible thing i can think of would be the plug boot. CAN YOU STILL HAVE A SHODDY BOOT BUT HAVE SPARK????
