Carb idle screw weirdness
Ok i have been messing with the carburetor on my puch maxi luxe for 2 days now - it leaks a little fuel, i have been adjusting the brass hinge on the floater.
First it idled too slow and died when i revved the gas. Then it got power back when the throttle was pulled, but it would not idle at all.
Finally, i was messing around with the idle screw (the one on the carb with the spring around it). I just took it out - and now it idles ok and runs ok.
It still leaks gas a little though -
My question - is this a bad thing to do? Just take the idle adjustment screw out? What does that screw regulate, exactly? What should I do now?
