Re: I feel horrible. I just tore apart an Allstat
Hmmm. Ya may be able to modify a left shifter. I thought the sabre tires were a bit fatter and shorter. Too bad they are so hard to find stuff for. Then again, I had to wait years before I found parts for my Allstate Mo-Ped. Thank God for the internet; but even on line, it took me a few years to locate anything.
Wish I could help you on that bike, Wiffle, 'cause I do like working on them. I can hardly stand working on a Peugeot, but these old puchs were made so they about explain themselves. Easiest bikes I ever touched. The shifter cables are the main hassle I've had, but even those, I'm alot better at now.
I'd LOVE to locate a European airbox!
