I own both an m48 and an m56 and the m56 goes 35 stock, with a duct-taped on air filter. It's a pain in the ass though. Nothing on that engine is easy to get to. I am now working on getting my m48 faster. Got a 30mph cylinder, new head and piston to put on it. Gonna try to get a new pipe on it over the winter.
