Clutch problem jawa.
So, two months ago when it was just begining to get cold outside, my Jawa's clutch self destructed.
Unable to find parts to fix it I bought an entire Jawa engine, runs great but has a different clutch problem.
The clutch won't disengage, I can't stop without stalling the engine. I have no idea how this is possible with an automatice centrifugal clutch, but I do know that it's happening. I lowered the idle speed so this would be less anoying, but I need to know how to fix it.
I filled the clutch casing with parrafin oil last night and let it sit untill this morning, then I road around the block and drained it, hoping to flush out dirt or whatever might be causing this, although alot of crap came out when I drained it, the clutch is still not releasing and it's a pretty anoying problem.
If somebody could scan the clutch section of the JAWA manual that would probably be a great help.
Thanks,
David G.
