Moped Army

Anybody had any luck with this? I paid this guy from a motorcycle shop to strip the rust out of my tank and reseal it. It looked great at first but when i opened my carb there where these little sparkly bits in my float bowl. Then i noticed a big bubble of the sealing agent inside the tank. Now my brand new petcock is all gummed up with what i can only assume is the hardened chemicals pealing off into my fuel.

Anybody ever successfully done this or is it just a waste of time and money?
