Moped Army

Ok, so I got a new carb, and it's too big for my intake by about a millimeter or two. So, while I wait for a bigger intake to get here (I live in Canada, so customs might keep it for up to 3 weeks), I decided to try using electrical tape to beef up the end of the intake enough for the carb to clamp on. It worked ok for about a mile, but then it got hot and the sticky goo got all viscous and the carb popped off.

So - what has anyone here ever sued as a ghetto-seal material for quick fixes? I'd really like to ride this weekend...
