Generally Accepted Moped Principles
Being new to the moped community, I am curious about the stereotypes, stigmas, assumptions, and sects within the community itself.
For example, I am a mountain biker. Within that community, there is the geared vs. singlespeed battle, downhillers and cross-country riders, steel vs. aluminum vs. Ti/CF frames, those who favor specific brands.
Just wondering about the quirks that come along with the moped community??
Are Tomos' considered "beginner" peds while Hobbits and PA50's are the more advanced riders choice?? Is it cause of weight savings (are the fastest peds Hobbits and the like)???
For example: "Glad to see youre going Hobbit!!"
Do most moped riders supposedly dislike scooter riders and vice versa??
Are beginners viewed as annoying?
What other classic battles exist here? What are things you "just dont do" when building a ped? Just trying to feel things out around here, I feel like it takes a while for a newbie to understand what the hell is going on in the grand scheme of things.
Let your ideas run free.
