Hi,Duck! Hey,i re-read some posts down there and I'm starting to believe you have an intake air leak or jug to engine gasket leak. Also,did the gasket you used mate up well with the new jug? Have you tried dripping carb cleaner around the jug and intake connections to see if they might leak? Also you can have a bad flywheel or clutch-side seal and it may be intaking air instead of pulling the fuel mixture. When you install a hi-po kit like that it is always a good idea to replace the flyside and clutch-side seals. If this is the case,your gonna burn your piston,I'm afraid. ANOTHER thing.........a 20mm carb seems very large to me for only a 70cc kit. That big of a venturi lessens the speed of the air drawn thru it unless it is the proper size. This reduces the atomization of the fuel to an extent. Too big a jet will cause bogging,because it overwhelms the ability of the engine to burn it all of a sudden. What is the number of the carb? Dellorto PHA series or what? The reason i said run a smaller jet is because of that HUGE carb. But if you have an air inleakage,`ALL bets are off!'. See ya',Duck! Maybe sooner than you think!
