personally i prefer the sachs version. there's one of each in town (at least in the mf) and my sachs destroys the v1.
if you are wanting to kit it and all that jaz, there are more kits and pipes available for the v1, but the sachs kits are pretty good too, and anyone who just bolts on parts off the shelf parts and goes isn't going to be the fastest around anyway.
and man, seattle is FULL of sachs bikes, and hardly anyone ever has clutch problems. set the thing up right and you're fine. jeez.
i've owned both and i like the sachs better, but everyone's got their favorite!

ed, the 505 sachs motors use the same electrical as puch za50's. it's a direct bolt on. you can also use puch hpi and other cdi's that will work on za50's.
