Moped Army

My moped is getting more problems every time I go out. Instead of buying another one, I had an idea, which is most likely a bad one. The pic attatched is something that I have. It IS a motorcycle, and its a 100cc, 5 speed, with no pedals. I was wondering what would happen if I painted it black(to remove kawasaki labels in paint), and put my moped's VIN plate on the motorcycle, and drove it. Is there someway to get away with this? Probably not.. If I would get pulled over, I would need something that looks like pedals. I have plenty of BMX pedal cranks laying around..
