Still, I think I know what you mean - despite the fact that you did a lot of fabrication work, you didn't have to cut or drill or weld the frame at all. Hooray for the ability to turn it back to stock!

I'm eager to know what kind of batteries you end up using (so that I can attempt to steal your sources, really). I'm pretty sure that Canadian availability will be different.

I was staring at my household battery drawer this morning, and thinking to myself "we _definitely_ don't have that many cell phones."

I've built up a small stock of batteries from old phones that are still in perfectly good condition (and unrecycleable, and individually expensive). If I can find a mere 300 more Samsung .3 amp-hour lithium batteries, I will maybe rock an electric bike this nice.
