Aug. 8th.... 5th Annual NJ MoPedLar Ride
That's right, the MoPedLar Ride will continue to live on as a separate ride on Saturday, August 8th at 10AM. There will be a couple of significant differences between the MoPedLar Ride and the Shades of Death Ride......the most important being.... no trail vehicle, no ovenight camping and no post-ride BBQ. Basically, you show up for the ride on Saturday morning by 10AM, we ride for around 25 miles, making a pit stop at Hot Dog Johhny's at noon, and then ride again for another 35 miles.
Since there will be no trail vehicle, it is incumbent upon you to bring a ped that can handle a 60 mile ride without any forseeable breakdowns. Breakdowns will be troubleshooted by the group, but if they cannot be resolved within a reasonable amount of time, you will be solely responsible for getting your ped running again. A pickup can be arranged after the ride is over.
If you want to attend, just show up at my house on Saturday, August 8th with a reliable ped, and I'll take you on some of the most beautiful terrain NJ has to offer.
