Moped Army

I know this is totally off topic but, anybody with wildlife rescue experience on here? I have this little baby nestling ive been attempting to rescue. It was way too young to be hopping out of the nest as its not quite a full fledgeling. And I couldn't find the original nest or parents. So i fed him sugar water from a dropper and moistened cat food tonight twice, warmed him up and made a nest for him near where I found him. He is in a highly visible spot for the parents if they're around. Is this enough/ok? I just hope this little guy makes it through the night.
