Batavus Clutch Mod
I am taking out some of the rolling balls form the ball/spring part of the clutch to help the clutch kick in faster. There are 33-35 balls in the spring. Somebody mentioned removing half of them and putting a spacer of fuel line between each one. I was wondering if this balance is necessary. Can i just remove half of them and put in one piece of fuel line to pack the balls in? How important is the balance in the centrifugal operation of the clutch- this question could also apply to variators in general- anybody know? Thanks for your advice.
