TFR choke fiddle
New TFR, 20 degrees, cold:
Turn fuel cock and switches on, kick over, let run @ idle 15 seconds. It should take just one kick after you decompress the cylinder.
Stand back, arrange helmet, jacket, gloves, goggles. Twist throttle easily, so the choke does NOT kick off (listen for a click), but do increase the RPMs. Stand aside from the smoke. If the choke clicks off, pull it out again, and get the RPMs up a bit.
Let run @ 1/2 throttle with choke on for 1-2 minutes.
Sit on bike, rev it up so throttle kicks choke off, "ring ring ring!!!" Do this for another 10 seconds, and ease on the rear brake to determine the off-choke dle quality. If it idles well, GO! If it doesn't, wait another minute and ring it some more.
Bike runs great so far from 10F - 105F. I love the my little tinkertoy TFR. I hit 42, downhill, pegged the other day. GO BLUE STREAK! Heh.
And, I advise getting 1157 LED replacements for the taillights. You want one? I'll send you one.
