he suffered from chrones disease. he only had about 2 ft of his intestines left and had to sleep with an iv every night so that his body could recieve nutrients. he had a complete intestinal transplant in oct. but in april he had a really bad fever which he couldnt get rid of and ended up in intensive care with massive infections around his newly transplanted intestine. he had been in icu under sedation since april.
