Charged riding an electric battery scooter in Tor
My friends 12 year old son was brought home crying in a police car because he was riding his new battery powered scooter. The cops told the father it was classed as a motorcycle and a licence, helmet, plate, and insurance were needed. No charges were laid, just a warning not to ride it. I see people riding gas powered go peds here in Toronto. I guess it's just a matter of time before they get caught. I thought that a battery scooter would not be stopped but no, NO SCOOTER FOR YOU,NEXT. bruce
