Oil questions...
I've got auto-oil-injection on my 04 LX. Now, this automatically does 50:1 ratio. I've heard 40:1 is a bit safer. I'm planning on upgrading my exhaust, up-jetting, and getting a torque sprocket. Now, here are my questions.
1. Does the oil-injection work even going down hill or when the throttle is closed?
2. Does the engine starve from oil when going up-hill? (More gas than normal.)
3. Would adding some oil to the gas hurt the motor or force too much oil into the cylinder? (How much oil should i add to 1 gallon of gas WITH oil injection.)
4. Could I add an oil additive to the oil resivoir? Lucas oil or something, so that the oil stays in the cylinder longer (more viscous).
5. Basically, what is the safest and best way to ensure proper lubrication of the motor WITHOUT REMOVING THE OIL INJECTION AND PRE-MIXING.
Thanks,
