Moped Army

Im not very familar with mopes other than my 82 honda urban express Iv been riding since about 97 98 but I see alot of posts talking about Puch this and puch that. What is the history of puch? who makes them is it a stand alone company? Iv just never heard of it. Like I said I know nothing about mopeds but driving mine and ocasional light matinence.
