Try scouting out the big box stores like Circuit City and Best Buy. They have open box buys that people return for reasons like viruses and not liking the colors. They return them to the manufacturer and sell them at a discount. I paid $500 for the laptop I have now.. except for getting rid of a virus on the computer on day one.. I've had no problems at all.
