Twingle?

Ok so in staying with all that is holy in the moped world I have decided to cancel the project bike with a 200cc honda engine which can be found here: www.geocities.com/sgtshadows.
I wanted to stay puch all the way around! I know at this point you are probably thinking i will go with an older sears allstate puch twingle 200 or 250, however that is not the case because to find one repairable is near impossible and my funding is limited. My idea at this point is to stay with the frame that i have constructed using a puch magnum, and create a super engine. I want to build a twingle 100. Basically using a puch two speed crankcase molded to a 1 speed case and having an extended crank shaft. Like most twingles this engine will fire both pistons on the same stroke. It will use one magneto and two coils with iridium plugs which can fire like one normal sparkplug would, using the same current. I will use two high torque 2hp cylinders and two 15mm intakes with two dellorto sha 15mm carbs. AT the same rate i will make the exhaust myself it will have both ports flowing down and somewhere under the engine they will meet and then have an expansion camber and silencer. What are your views on this? It is a lot of work yes! I think it would be totally cool though. Should i use two carbs? or split one bigger carb. Should I use the two into one exhaust setup. Is there anyone out there willing to try this experiment or offer help in the crank machining process. Let me know.
Thanks.

By the way, yes this engine will be very wide. I have designed the fram to accept this.

Hmm,

Since money is tight, i would go with one bigger carb that is shared between the two, also 2 into 1 exhaust.

This sounds like fun, contact me if you want.

I already have both of the carbs sitting around. The hard part will be mating the two engiens to use one crank. It has to be perfect.

Well, since it will be a complete new modification what if you used one original crank. You take the piston off the rod and use a longer wrist pin so you can run two rod from there. This way you only need to modify two cylinders that can attach to one case.
Just another approach.

On the original twingle, doesn’t one rod connect to the crank and the another smaller rod attaches to the first rod?

wait i think i understand and you are a genius however how would the valving work? you need the area that collects the fuel behind the piston.
