I snagged him . I email him from a different email account and asked if he had a Motobecane motor that I would paypal him right away. Thus he answered that email . He said he has a NOS one for 150 dollars shipped paypal only.
I am trying to get his address for a money order.

I just can’t believe how ridiculous this scam is, and how many federal laws were broken in the execution of it. I am hoping that all of those affected have gotten together and shared these threads on MA with 1) PayPal and 2) the “authorities”—the post office, the FBI, whoever has jurisdiction). It’s all evidence, at this point. All the e-mails, correspondence, everything … this is not small claims shit.

I have to say this also makes me bummed to hear. One of the coolest things about MA is that it’s an open community (which is rare in a world where you can’t trust anyone). This is all the more reason to go after this dude as much as possible.

That website doesn’t state the real adress, it uses your location to think up a location. It tells me that Jasper lives in Appingedam, a place about 20 miles from here.

Turn it over to the authorities. He is using Hotmail to commit federal crimes. Turn this in to Hotmail, they should have some contact info for the individual. As should PayPal. You can do a reverse look up for his hotmail address, but it will cost money and I am not sure how far that is going to get you.
