Good, cheap(er), toptank

first off i am posting this for a friend who does want to get a moped, but does not want a stepthrough frame. anyway, what top tank moped is a good bike, and is inexpensive (and is not a ttlx)?

No truely good peds are cheap. You need to rid the word "cheap" out of your vocabulary. Cheap=Crap.

I have a late 2001 model, runs and handles great, yes you do have to premix the gas 32:1 ratio (4 ounces) and I top out at around 37-38 MPH even faster on nice days and I'm no lightweight at 225lbs. It has a huge 2.65 gallon gas tank.

No mods, just took off the restrictor plate from the pipe and gapped the plug tho 50.
