Revisit this Post, as it has a lot of good info.

All this talk of the Main Jets, and im guessing everyone is running the stock carb? Is there a bolt on upgrade carb requiring no modification that can do a better job than the stock carb?

Jeremiah was helping me with some great information and he recommends the Mikuni VM18 – but you need a custom spacer made to fit. Im more of a plug and play guy, wouldn’t know where to start looking for a new spacer? Or does anyone know an easy way to get that spacer?

I have the yt60 top end coming OEM from Yamaha, message out to Jemco for the pipe. Seems if im going to all the trouble with the cylinder and pipe, I might as well look at the carb. Or do you guys think the stock Mikuni will suffice?
