well in that case just grab a 2 volt can style coil and let it rip. they do sell the MSD ones at autozones for about $40. you’ll need a wire for it as well, which they sell too. for a moped though you can run a non resistance wire, we are. we stole a plug wire from a non running VW bug.

you can make your own though, get a set of plug terminals and boots and buy a cheap 10 gauge jumper cable set. cut some of the 10 gauge copper wire and crimp and boot your ends. viola, a nice wire with no resistance, let the EMI shine through.
