fuseproblems ! DADADADUM

hey i got a 07 streetmate and my bike keeps eating through fuses. it just all of a sudden started to blow them, could this be cause by that fact that i am going faster with a 22 and K&N? also i am using the same size as what came with the pike but that manual said i should be running a 8A, not a 7.5A like what it came with. so what should i do because i cant find where to buy and 8 amp fuses that will fit. and how much would it hurt if i just used a 10 amp instead.
