well, ive got the same variator waiting to go on BUT, without a clutch pully it wont idle, so im STILL waiting for that to come in. either way, without moving the motor forward at least 4 inches it wont work. i was thinking of hacksawing the mount plates off, welding some longer ones to the frame to compensate for the incline of the frame. still think id need like a doppler spring to replace the old one. keep us updated on how this works out for you.
