Moby performance

Ok, so I have a Motobecane 50v, I have been doing some research and it looks like I am out of luck on any kitting…so I ask this…what can be done to a stock av7 for more power? Will adding pipes and a Dellorto do anything? Should I just give this to my wife and get a Puch Maxi?
