Re: PA50 to PA50II motor swap

Well, you do not NEED a full wiring harness to install a CDI motor. You will have to fabricate some amount of wiring, though. You will also need a CDI ignition coil, as it is different than the points model.

If you can’t read schematics, or don’t know how to, or don’t want to make your own “mini-harness”, then just swap over “number 5” on the attached picture.
