yeah this has been discussed a lot. the general consensus is that they help a little with acceleration if they’re tuned extremely well, which means the length of the connecting tube has to be just right, the volume of the boost bottle has to be just right, and so on. the problem with the ones they sell cheap on ebay is that they’re too junky to be any use. but, they do look cool if you mount them neatly!
