Hobbit Variator

So, I’m wondering here, what should I do to mod my variator?

My new performance exhaust gives me a higher top speed but a lower acceleration. So maybe I should drill holes in my rollers and make them lighter?

I’ve read up on an additional mod where you cut notches for the rollers to stick out and while the thread told me how to do it, I wasn’t sure what exactly I would be improving.

towards the end of the thread he gives his rollers more weight. Thus I am confused. It seems contradictory. Unless he has two variators, one for low acceleration with light rollers and then another for super speed with the notches.

I guess my main question is, which one do I want?
