Re: headlight blew. could i replace with a halogen

Depends on the headlight. If you are using a fog-light type housing the cheapest source for a 6v bulb is goodwill- look for old handheld spotlights that still have a good bulb and a dead battery. If you have time open it and make sure you have a 6v bulb and check the wattage. I recently found my perfect bulb- 6v, 25W! and the 6v battery was still good.
