make it the opposite of the variator drive with a fixed cone and a movable cone. put a spring behind the movable cone to keep the pressure at the V. make your cones at 40 degrees same as a belt pulley. you will only have like two and a half inches of variance so prolly have to be same size or slightly smaller as the moby pulley is now.
