Also, my son’s Hobbit is a PA50I.
It currently has a PA50II carb, reed block, and variator plate/rollers. I ordered the variator plate and rollers from Honda (about $40 to my door).
The PA50II carb and reed block was put on, and the jetting was not changed. It helped with acceleration, and helped with top speed about 4 MPH. Despite keeping the larger jet, it does not “four stroke”, and the spark plug is just a little on the dark side.
It will now go about 23 MPH on the flat, and will hold about 19 MPH up a hill.
Since this exhaust was not designed for a Hobbit, I’m not expecting a Proma-type result, but who knows, maybe I will be surprised!
