I have a 77 pinto(puch), 64cc polini kit, new 15mm bing, high flow metal air cleaner, newish proma pipe. Bike starts and idles perfectly, when I give it throttle, it dies. I have tried a 82,88,90,and 98 jets, all needle positions, checked for leaks, checked all passages on the bing, checked fuel flow to the carb, tried without gas cap, messed with timing?? If i hold down the primer on the carb, it will run, and is pretty fast, but leaves a trail of gas behind me. I messed with the float level and it will run but cant get it to run without the level so high that it leaks gas?? With the 82 jet in it, it will go slow before it dies,(it will run with a very little bit of throttle)? I don’t think I should go lower than an 82? I have searched the site and havn’t had any luck. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
