ok, so i notched the variator and driled the weights out to about 12 grams (according to K&R Tech’s 1/4 inch guide line) and holy fuck! my top speed is incredible! i might take the weights down to about 10 grams to keep it from variating a little longer. its not bad where it is though.
so new question.
it doesnt seem to want to let the engine rev out. its pretty awesomely fast and all, but there is more there that i’m not able to take advantage of. what can i do about that? how do i make this engine rev like a son of a bitch once its fully variated? it feels like i’m riding my buddys ruckus (just not as lame) in terms of the way you can feel that it wants to do more, but cant. ideas?
