Restoring

Hello again,

Last summer I bought a 1978 Kriedler. I loved it so much, and I put about 600 miles on it in the month that it was running. It started going downhill and finally died toward the end of summer. And since (i)It was filthy and not working (ii)I intend to learn everything about it inside and out so that I can take it on a long trip next summer, I decided to tear the whole thing apart and restore it.

So I ripped everything apart, and painted the frame black. It looks hot. Now I want to work on the engine/carburetor/wiring.

Here is my question. Once I am done restoring everything, what is the MINIMAL wiring required just to see if the moped is running? I don’t want to fully wire and put everything back together, just to find that it’s not working, or something still needs fixed.
