On my A35 Revival I recently had a piston failure and some pieces of it broke off and are probably still in the crankcase. I have it apart and am going to put a new cylinder and piston on it (70cc Alukit). I noticed that there is some lateral play in the connecting rod on the crankshaft, I just wanted to check if this was normal or if it’s too excessive and I need to replace the crank/rod assembly? Here’s a video I made showing how much movement there is, I’m just not sure if that’s normal.

P.S.-How do you clean out the crankcase? Is it lubed with the same transmission fluid? I had the side cover off a few weeks ago to replace the clutch pads and it looks like the center part of the engine where the crankshaft is is sealed off to the side with the gears and tranny fluid.
