Can I use Honda scooter coil on Moby?

Moped Cognoscenti:

I’m working on a ‘79 Moby 50V. Original point and condensor ignition. 12 volt system.

The spark coil is fried. I’ve got a Honda scooter coil on my shelf. Can I use this in place of the original white Moby coil?
