so i’ve seen them work good, and not so good. i oil my cables, i can get the mechanical parts of the shoes/lever to work. i have 2 problems…

1. sometimes they get weird and squeaky, and act like they want to lock up. (on my puch and peugeot)

2. sometimes they engage and seem good in every way other than actually stopping the bike. it’s like someone has replaced my brake shoes w/ slippery bacon bits. (on a moby)

i’m hoping someone will suggest a nice spray or sandpaper application.

oh yeah, have you noticed off center (2different sized shoes) brake plates on mobys?

i superglued one of the pads back onto the moby shoe, it seems good.
