Stupid motobecane bolt thingy

So, I was reattaching the front fender on my ‘80 Traveler, and the bolt that holds the main bracket does double duty as a bracket/stop for the front brake cable. Anyhow, when i was tightening the nut the bolt broke (metal fatigue I guess), and I can’t find one on treats, 1977, or mopedjunkyard. Any thoughts as to where I can get a replacement, or do I just have to do my best to fabricate one?

I’ll post pics later if you don’t know what I’m referring to.
