Easy question for puch owner who knows wiring

My 78 maxi luxe came with one rear lamp – it has the green and grey wires running to it and does not serve as a brake light. I bought a derivative trailer brake light and am trying to add this on – from the puch wiring diagram it seemed that those grey and green wires are for a brake light – do I need to get more wires through there to have both lights?
