kinetic tfr won't start, spark plug is workng

there was a quiet popping noise yesterday when i was riding my moped, almost like a softer back-fire and then it just stopped running. when i try starting it now the moped will make the putting noise like it’s going to start but just won’t kick on. the moped shop by my place can’t look at kinetics anymore so i was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and possible solution.
