So, if your mythical soft seize is caused by

Add a nicely shaped and decorated piece of something wide and long and lightweight (plastic-carboard sign material is what I used) above your engine at an angle which will force air down onto your engine. I did that when I bought my new Tomos, and have had no overheating problems even though I’ve been twice through all the western mountains in summer, and my bike carries 350 pounds when loaded for touring.
