06 tomas revival

06 revival was taken to a repair shop running rough. they honed the cylinder, new piston and rings. has’nt ran since and could’nt figure out why. so we bought it from the poor guy that got fucked. it has spark and fuel, They said the compression checked out? we pulled the head to confirm and its all new. Question. could the piston be insalled upside down. arrow on the top of the piston points down.
