It sounds like your battery isn’t holding enough of a charge. Is it the correct battery? It’s possible that the previous owner put one in that was sort of close, but not powerful enough. Because that battery should be holding enough of a charge to light up the blinkers brightly with them going blinkblinkblink without a problem
