what's it supposed to look ilke...

When you take off the exhaust and you look into the engine… what is the hole supposed to look like?

Is it supposed to be a perfect circle… the hole? All the way through? Or should there be a large bump protruding from the front of the bike? Should it be a solid circle/cylinder all the way to the combustion chamber?

I’m wondering if this bulge on my bike is carbon build up or something.
